Gabby Chaves wins his first Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires race of the season on the streets of Long Beach. Zach Veach, the pole sitter, finished second in the 45-lap, caution-free race.

Zach Veach, in his second season with Andretti Autosport in Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, will start the 45-lap race on the streets of Long Beach from the pole. Gabby Chaves, the 2013 series championship runner-up, qualifies second.

The Queen Mary, which hosted royalty, celebrity and dignitaries in four decades as a regal ocean liner, is part of the backdrop of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The ship opened to tourists in 1971 -- four years before the first race event.
